Mark is from Honolulu, Hawaii. He was first introduced into the world of magic by
a great magician, mentor and teacher, Mr. James Yoshida. At the age of eight, his
journey into magic began. With the guidance and teaching of Mr. Yoshida, he was
performing for Private parties, Boy Scout events, and Children's hospitals. At any
opportunity, he would perform his magic. He performed his first professional show
at age of twelve.
Since moving to California in 1980, Mark has entertained for Private parties, Birthday
parties, Churches, and Restaurants. He performs for Children and Adults, creating
a magical theater experience with much "Aloha" spirit. He continues to travel and
attend magic conventions, lectures, and seminars to further his knowledge in perfecting
the art of magic. He is an experienced professional, specializing in Children’s Magic. He is also a member of the KIDabra International ~ The
Association of Family and Kidshow Performers, and a Lifetime member of the
International Magicians Society.
In his spare time he enjoys playing the guitar, ukulele, and singing. He has entertained
and performed in nightclubs and restaurants in Hawaii. He holds a Black Belt Master
Certification and has been involved in the Martial Arts since he was 6 years old.
He also has a family run business, teaching the Martial Arts to children, teens,
and adults at a home studio in Gardena for over 15 years.
