Bio

Audiences of all ages and back grounds have enjoyed the comedy and magic of Mark Kiyabu. His artistry and unique local style of magic continues to amaze audiences. The Ghost Deck

Mark Kiyabu is from Honolulu, Hawaii. He was first introduced to the world of magic by a great magician and mentor Mr. James Yoshida. At the age of eight, his journey into magic began. With the guidance and teaching of Mr. Yoshida, he was performing for Private parties, Boy Scout events, and Children’s hospitals. At any opportunity, he would perform his magic. He performed his first professional show at age of twelve.

Since moving to California in 1980, Mark has entertained for Private parties, Birthday parties, Churches, School events, and Restaurants. He performs for Children and Adults creating a magical theater experience with much "Aloha" spirit.

Every show presents a new challenge to Mark as he tries to make each show better than his last, putting his full effort and heart into every performance. He looks forward to taking his show to the next level. When not performing, he continues to travel and attend magic conventions, lectures, seminars, and workshops to further his knowledge in perfecting the art of magic.

He is an experienced professional, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He is also a member of KIDabra International ~ The Association of Family and Kidshow Performers, and a Lifetime member of the International Magicians Society.

In his spare time he enjoys playing the guitar, ukulele, and singing. He has performed in nightclubs and restaurants in Hawaii. He holds a Black Belt Master Certification and has been involved in the Martial Arts since he was 6 years old. He also has a family run business, teaching the Martial Arts to children, teens and adults at a home studio in Gardena for over 15 years.
